Terremoto em Tokyo

Nossa viagem para o Japão começou com bastante emoção…

E foram dois em seguida.

 No primeiro, lá pelas 19hs do domingo 09/08 estávamos jantando com um casal de amigos que vivem em Tokyo em um restaurante. A sensação foi de estar jantando em uma mesa em um trem (mas daqueles bem velhos, não estes super bullet trains daqui do Japão).

O segundo foi pior. Ontem (11/09) fomos acordados (mesmo!) pelo terremoto às 5 da manhã. O quarto todo do hotel tremia, lustre balançava a la Poltergeist… Um pouco assustador.

A pior parte foi quando descemos para tomar um café Starbucks (sempre ele) e comentamos calmamente com a menina do caixa sobre o terremoto.

Ela olhou pra gente com uma cara bem estressada e disse que isso NÃO era normal e que a gente deveria tomar cuidado… MEDO!

Perdi o Show…

Como postei no Twitter,  eu passei mesmo mal no show do Michael Jackson no Brasil em 1993 no Morumbi. Tive um mega ataque de asma. Fiquei tomando oxigenio naquelas ambulancias que ficam paradas nos estádios. Perdi maior parte do show…

O pior é que eu tinha ido com vários amigos (caravana saindo do Rio para o concerto em Sampa) e um deles foi o que me ajudou, me levando para a ambulância.

Essa semana falei com ele e o recado foi que eu sou o culpado de um grande trauma na vida dele, ele não assitiu e nunca mais poderá assistir um show do Jacko. A esposa até falou que eu terei que pagar a conta do analista…

Foi mal brother!!

Mas para te agradecer e te ajudar a lembrar do (pouco) que vimos e do (muito) que perdemos, abaixo a reportagem que o Jornal da Globo fez naquela noite mostrando alguns trechos do show.

Finally, the most classic performance, also “Billie Jean” at Motown 25th Anniversary.

For Coldplay Fans

For those who are Coldplay fans like me, the band just released a new live album with 9 songs from its last tour. And, believe it or not,  its free. Just go to the website and push the button. I just did.

According to the band, they decided to do that to thank the fans to support them all these years and especially now in such tough economic situation. How cool...

As I mentioned in the first paragraph this is their last tour. Coldplay as a band will cease to exist at the end of 2009, with 2 huge concerts in September in Wembley (London).

My advice: if you have the opportunity, go to one of their concerts. I did last year in Hamburg and I will do it here in Barcelona in September. And I can tell you, it was one of the best concerts I´ve ever been.
